They finished a week early and the yard looks better than the drawing.
We had three bids. Alder & Stone was the only crew that asked how we actually use the yard. The patio and fire pit get used every weekend now.
Three crews, one standard.
Alder & Stone started in 2011 with one truck and a promise: show up when we say, build what we drew. Eighteen people later, that is still the whole business plan.

Built by people who would rather be outside.
Sam drew plans for other companies for a decade and kept watching them get built wrong. Rosa ran crews for a paver supplier and kept watching plans that could not be built. They started Alder & Stone so the drawing and the build would come from the same people. The first yard was Sam's mother's. She still sends referrals.

Our lawn finally survived August.
The drip system they put in cut our water bill and the beds look full for the first time. The maintenance crew shows up the same day every week.
Straight answers and a real schedule.
We got a start date in writing and a text the night before every day they came. The retaining wall has been through two winters without a shift.
